Visitors to the Midlands Cathedral spotted this jovial sign at the entrance, making sure anyone who fancied popping in was made to feel welcome.
Twitter user Nicole Cliffe was flooded by responses when she asked her followers to share with her the kindest thing a stranger had ever said or done to them. Her question garnered over 7,000 responses, describing everything from simple gestures to mind blowing acts beyond the call of duty.
When I was 8 mos pregnant I slipped on some ice & fell, knocked out cold. When I came to, there was a crowd of strangers around me, all without coats (this was in Saskatchewan, Canada in December). Their coats, I realized, were all on top of me, except the one under my head.

A wildlife charity was inundated with mascara wands after asking for anyone with old makeup to wash them and send them in to help groom small animals. A post on Facebook giving an update said; ‘We have now been offered more wands than Hogwarts’.
Please DO NOT throw away your mascara wands.
Instead;
🙌 clean in warm soapy water
🙌 put in2 a ziploc bag
🙌 post them to THE NEW ARCThey r used to remove oil, larvae, fly eggs, mites, infections, mud etc
