Yes, a small amount of rapeseed oil is used in our products to act as a binder to our veg, pulses and grain mixes! Rapeseed oil has a light and neutral taste which doesn’t overpower the flavour of our vegetables and spices. We just use enough to ensure a great product taste and texture.

Yes, the whole range is vegan and approved by the Vegan Society.

All of our Gosh! products are free from the top 14 allergens including – Cereals containing gluten, nuts (including peanuts), egg, milk, soya, celery, mustard, lupin, sesame seeds, sulphites, molluscs, crustaceans, fish.

Sustainability

Our mission here at Gosh is to inspire everyone to live life on the veg doesn’t stop with our delicious food. Behind our products, an entire business exists that is powered by people who care for the planet and its communities. And together, we’re on a journey to becoming a B Corp-certified business so that we can go further with our mission, make even more of a positive impact and join a global community of like-minded businesses who meet high social and environmental standards. To find out more about our sustainable journey and our mission to become B-Corp certified, check out our sustainability page.

Approx 96% of our Gosh! packaging is fully recyclable. Our sleeves are also made from FCS certified approved cardboard sleeve. We’re continually looking to improve and work on our packaging to make this more environmentally friendly. Gosh is on a mission to make all our packaging fully recyclable by 2025. Until then, check your Gosh! packs for tips on how to recycle them.

Plastic is a fantastic packaging material for food. Without it, food waste in stores & our homes would increase and lead to greater environmental problems. A ton of food waste produces far more carbon dioxide than a ton of packaging.

Our packaging allows us to extend the shelf life of our products past a few days, reducing waste, without the use of artificial preservatives, keeping all our products natural. Something we couldn’t do with alternative packaging materials.

‘Zero waste to landfill’ recognition…

We are also proud to have received a Greener Path Award for ‘Zero Waste to landfill’ issued by ACM Environmental PLC.  This award is to celebrate businesses who demonstrate exemplary effort and achievement in minimising waste, boost recycling and increasing landfill diversion while seeking out innovative and sustainable ways to handle waste streams.

Gosh are on a mission to make all our packaging fully recyclable by 2025. Until then, check your Gosh! packs for tips on how to recycle them.

At Gosh! making our products sustainable is super important to us.

We have clear plastic trays for most of our products which means that they are recyclable with all councils. Over 90% of our tray, sleeve & film materials are made from fully recycled material or fully recyclable.

As a company that prides itself on being kind to ourselves, animals and the planet, we want to ensure that our packaging matches this ethos.
